The researchers of the faculty participate in national and international projects and take care of the dissemination and popularization of science, preparing high-level scientific publications, which have been awarded various prizes. The faculty also constantly promotes the development of applied student work.
Different companies make daily decisions every day – how to optimize their activities, improve their performance or increase profits. Solutions based on mathematical calculations and methods can bring significant benefits.
The goal of the Workshop of Mathematical Solutions in Business and Industry (ESGI) is to promote cooperation between business and science in order to solve business problems by using mathematical methods. The Workshop brings together researchers and business representatives for solving real-world problems that modern companies face.
